The Municipality of Xylokastro-Eurostine extends in the heart of Corinthian region in an area of more than 400.000 acres, which makes it one of the largest in size municipalities in Greece. Within half an hour you can change landscapes from the sea-level up to 2000 metres.

With only 122 km separating the town from Athens International airport (Get directions here) and combining long beaches with blue clean waters together with huge magestic mountainous areas of Kyllene (or Ziria), and with its traditional settlements keeping snow for more that 3 months, Xylokastro attracts every year lots of visitors from around the world, who come there to escape, enjoy and find peace of mind, inspired by its unique nature and its friendly local people.

With almost 100 years long tradition  in cultural and traditional tourism, Xylokastro is a home to many local and "foreign" artists, musicians, poets, visual artists, film directors and media personalities, therefore xilokastro.net aims to bring up some of the town's cultural and artistic action which took place during the last 30 years and still goes strong... Xylokastro has a lot of natural gifts to explore and admire and especially a unique 3 km long coastal pine forest named Pefkias, which is one of the 17 aesthetic forests in Greece, a natural  ornament  situated on it's eastern costal area of the town which was home of inspiration to great Greek poets as Angelos Sikelianos and Kostas Kariotakis and many more...
